Diodorus the Sicilian.
Leading Greek historian born in Argyrio, Sicily, in the time of Julius Caesar. He devoted his whole life to writing world history (!!!) in forty books, entitled “History Library”. His work is valuable for the wealth of historical material, which makes up for lost works of earlier great historians. Unfortunately, of the forty books of Diodorus, only fifteen (A’ – E’) and (IA’ – K’) have survived.
Of the rest we only have epitomes and elections.
The Fourth Bible is the writing of Greek mythology.
